How the Golden State Registry Training Program works:
Your GSR Training Program has been formulated to comply with Title 20 requirements. Here is how your training and testing procedures operate.
1.Option 1: Take the GSR challenge test and, if you pass, all requirements are waived except for the remaining requirement to satisfactorily perform field verification and diagnostic testing for at least one home in the presence and under the direct supervision of the Providerʹs (GSR) trainer or Quality Assurance Reviewer. (Note: All Raters certified by GSR must fulfill requirements in Rater Agreement section.)
2.Option 2: Complete this training program provided by GSR, pass the applicable competency tests, fulfill class and field training and verification requirements. Enter into Rater Agreement. (See Course Overview.)
3.Initial Review: GSR, as stipulated in Section 1673(a) (1)through Section 1673(a)(6), will review and approve for accuracy and completeness the rating documentation for at least the first five homes which a Rater performs after completion of the requirements specified not including those homes rated under HERS CERTS direct supervision as specified in Section 1673(a)(6).
