What This Means for Raters and Contractors
All projects registered in GSR under the 2022 Energy Code cycle remain valid and may be completed within GSR.
- Any project entered before 12:00 a.m. (midnight), January 1, 2026, will be accepted and processed through completion under the applicable 2022 requirements.
- GSR will not be able to accept or process new projects under the 2025 ECC code until the California Energy Commission's review and approval process is fully satisfied.
